Science helps us understand the world around us. At the same time, it’s what makes the world pretty incomprehensible. As a moderator, Desiree Hoving makes science-related events purposeful, interactive and understandable for all kinds of participants. She constantly finds parallels between different scientific disciplines, between theory and practice and between science and society. Her affinity with all things scientific started with her first job at the research institute TNO and Technical University Delft. After five years, she founded her own business and worked as a science journalist for ten years. Now, Desiree spends all her time demystifying science when moderating, hosting and leading discussions at business events.
